MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT On October 15th, I gave birth to an 8 lb. 12 oz. boy. He is very healthy and has already gained a little more than a pound. I am sorry to have missed the last meeting, but will plan to be at all future ones. Just a reminder that the next two meetings are on the second Tuesdays of the month instead of the third. AORN is proud to honor perioperative registered nurses during OR Nurse Week, November 11-17, 2001. This year’s theme is Perioperative Nurses,Caring Today, Preparing Tomorrow.
4th annual State Conference “Fullfilling the Future of Perioperative Care” October 12, 13, 14 was a great success. Attendance was good considering the troubled times we are living in today. Thank you to all who were there. Look forward to attending next year. Looks like we are going to Stillwater for next year. Jane will be leading the show when the gavel is passed January 1st.
