2000-2001 AORN Legislative Priorities

€  Ensure the supervisory presence of RN's in the perioperative arena and promote AORN's position that "Every surgical patient deserves a perioperative nurse."
€  Medicare reimbursement for certified RNFA's and state third-party reimbursement for RNFA's.
€  Supervision and regulation of assistive personnel.
€  Patient and personnel health and safety in the perioperative arena.
