ABOUT US
MISSION
The Oklahoma Hand Surgery Center focuses on providing competent
medical service in an efficient professional atmosphere for its
patients. Emphasis is placed on timely quality care which is coordinated
with other allied health professionals and administered with compassion
and respect for human dignity. Attention is given to respecting the
rights of patients and colleagues while safeguarding patient confidences
within the limits of the law.
HISTORY
Founded in 1979 by Carlos A. Garcia-Moral, MD, we were the first
private clinic in the state of Oklahoma devoted exclusively to hand
surgery. In 1989, we expanded our size with the addition of Kenneth A.
Hieke, MD, and became the first hand surgery group in the state,
continuing our commitment to hand surgery and medicine. In October
of 2009, Daron C. Hitt, MD joins our group
having completed his microsurgery hand fellowship in Los Angeles,
California.
Today, our goal of offering the finest professional hand and upper
extremity care remains intact. We strive to provide the highest quality
professional medical services to our patients. We believe that you
deserve the best medical treatment.
On January 1, 2008, Carlos A. Garcia-Moral, MD retired from the
Center and is no longer seeing patients.
